VOA Recovery

Volunteers of America Mid-States is a nonprofit organization that creates positive change in the lives of individuals and communities through a ministry of service. The organization provides substance use disorder recovery services for men and women across Kentucky, Tennessee, West Virginia, and Clark and Floyd counties in Indiana. Their Freedom House program is a national model for pregnant and parenting women overcoming substance use disorder. In addition to recovery services, VOA Mid-States offers housing for families, veterans and low-income seniors, care and support for individuals with developmental disabilities, restorative justice programs, employment services, and public health services including education and confidential HIV testing. The organization is headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky.
