About Lakes Regional MHMR Center
Lakes Regional Community Center is a nonprofit community mental health center serving multiple counties in northeast Texas. Founded on December 1, 1999, the organization provides mental health services, intellectual and developmental disabilities services, and substance use disorder treatment. Lakes Regional operates as the designated Mental Health and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Authority for numerous counties in the region. The center provides intensive and supportive outpatient services, substance use disorder services including DWI education, drug offender education, and minor in possession classes. The organization also provides substance abuse services through facilities in locations including Greenville and Terrell, as well as parole and continuity services in select counties. Lakes Regional is committed to ensuring access to services that support individuals and families in the communities it serves.
