About West Texas Centers
West Texas Centers is a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic serving 23 counties in West Texas including Andrews, Borden, Crane, Dawson, Fisher, Gaines, Garza, Glasscock, Howard, Kent, Loving, Martin, Mitchell, Nolan, Reeves, Runnels, Scurry, Terrell, Terry, Upton, Ward, Winkler and Yoakum counties. The organization provides mental health services, intellectual and developmental disabilities support, and early childhood intervention services. They believe that with proper supports and services, people with mental illness and intellectual and developmental disabilities can begin their road to recovery and lead productive lives in the community. The STEP program serves adolescents and young adults ages 15-30 who have experienced an initial psychotic episode within the past two years, utilizing an intensive team approach with case managers, employment specialists, clinical leadership, and prescribers.
