About Gulf Coast Center
Gulf Coast Center is a community healthcare organization committed to promoting healthy living and helping clients achieve their greatest potential. The center provides mental health services including a 24-hour crisis hotline, emergency and stabilization services, inpatient and outpatient psychiatric care, counseling, and skills and education training for adults, children, and adolescents. Gulf Coast Center also offers substance use services including education, screening, individual, group and peer counseling, skills training, and inpatient and outpatient treatment, with programs specifically designed for adolescents, women, people with mental illness diagnoses, and people at higher risk of HIV. Additionally, the center provides IDD (Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities) services to help individuals and families navigate the complicated system of IDD services. The center serves Galveston and Brazoria counties and provides outreach and education services supporting Veterans, First Responders, Victims of Crime, and people experiencing homelessness. Gulf Coast Center also offers disaster crisis response services to help communities respond to and cope with crises such as hurricanes and community violence.
