Communicare Outpatient Clinic
About Communicare Outpatient Clinic
Communicare is one of fourteen community mental health centers in Kentucky providing behavioral health, developmental disabilities, and substance abuse services in the Lincoln Trail ADD District, which includes Breckinridge, Grayson, Hardin, LaRue, Marion, Meade, Nelson, and Washington counties. Founded in 1967, Communicare serves as a community safety net providing a wide array of services to over 10,000 clients annually. The organization offers crisis services available during regular business hours at outpatient clinic locations and participates in the 988 National Suicide Line. Communicare provides services on a discounted and sliding fee schedule based on family size and income, and no one is denied access due to inability to pay. The organization is merging with Four Rivers Behavior Health to expand service capacity across rural Kentucky communities.
