Center for Healthcare Services

The Center for Health Care Services (CHCS) is located in San Antonio, Texas (6800 Park Ten Blvd, Ste 200-S) and provides quality integrated care to children and adults with mental health conditions, substance use challenges, and intellectual or developmental disabilities. The organization operates a 24-hour crisis and substance use helpline and offers a range of programs including mental health services for anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and postpartum depression. For substance use, they address alcohol, opiates, benzodiazepines, methamphetamines, and marijuana. The center serves specialized populations including veterans, individuals experiencing homelessness, high utilizers of emergency services, and those referred through the juvenile probation system. CHCS operates on a sliding fee scale and accepts all patients regardless of ability to pay, including those covered by Medicare, Medicaid, or CHIP.
