Bethel Family Clinic is a Federally Qualified Health Center serving Bethel and 55 surrounding villages in the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta region of Alaska. Founded in 1981, the clinic provides accessible, community-based healthcare guided by values of compassion, collaboration, and accessibility. The clinic operates two locations: a Health Clinic and Behavioral Health center at 430 Main Street, and an Admin and Dental facility at 631 4th Avenue, both in Bethel. The clinic also provides extended services in local schools, cultural centers, and area village schools. BFC received Level III Patient-Centered Medical Home certification in 2016 and maintains Federal Public Health Service deemed status. The clinic serves a diverse population across 87,828 square miles and offers care regardless of ability to pay through a sliding fee scale program.
