Andrews Behavioral Healthcare

Andrews Behavioral Health is a non-profit, governmental mental health authority serving over 12,000 underserved East Texans annually across Smith, Henderson, Rains, Van Zandt, and Wood counties. The organization provides emergency crisis services, adult and youth mental health care for severe mental illness and emotional disturbances, intellectual and developmental disabilities services, substance use disorder treatment, autism care for children, and veteran services. As the local mental health authority, Andrews collaborates with governmental organizations, law enforcement, healthcare providers, and community groups to improve mental health services in the East Texas region, which experiences significant mental health challenges including the state's highest suicide rate.
