Alliance Recovery Center

Alliance Recovery Center is an outpatient opioid treatment program operating in the Atlanta area with three locations in Decatur, Conyers, and Athens. They specialize in medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorder, using methadone and buprenorphine combined with individual and group therapy, peer support, and comprehensive care services. The program is built on the belief that addiction is a disease requiring treatment of underlying issues, not just symptom management. All clients work with licensed, master's level therapists and have access to medical doctors, nurses, and pharmacists. The center employs peer specialists with lived experience in recovery and opioid medications. Treatment philosophy emphasizes that medication is a tool to provide time for therapeutic work and connection-building, with the goal of clients becoming less medication-dependent as they gain confidence in their recovery. Participation in therapy is mandatory, as they believe medication alone does not produce sustainable recovery.
