Gateway Community Service Board is a public community-based organization serving eight Georgia counties: Camden, Glynn, McIntosh, Liberty, Chatham, Bryan, Long, and Effingham. As an instrumentality of the State of Georgia, Gateway provides comprehensive community services for mental health, substance use disorders, and developmental disorders. The organization operates Gateway Women's Residential, a residential program for women in recovery, as well as the Gateway Training Center for socialization and skills development. Gateway operates a subsidiary, Distinctive Housing Solutions, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, to manage and hold real property for housing consumers across various programs. The organization offers group homes, community living supports, and supported employment services through programs serving individuals with mental health, substance use, and developmental disorders.
