Volunteers of America Dakotas

Volunteers of America, Dakotas is a faith-based nonprofit organization founded in 1896 that provides behavioral health services and human services in the Sioux Falls area. The organization is called by the Gospel to guide people to live healthy and fulfilling lives. VOA Dakotas works with individuals of all faiths, races, and backgrounds, demonstrating God's love by guiding people with behavioral health needs, uplifting children, youth, and families, supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and strengthening those struggling with homelessness. The organization serves the whole person (mind, body, and spirit) by bringing together human service agency work with church ministry principles. All services are motivated by Christian beliefs while remaining inclusive and never requiring participants to engage in worship or acknowledge specific beliefs.
