Services are available regardless of discharge status or VA health care enrollment. The VA offers a range of mental health support including peer support with other veterans, counseling, therapy, medication, or combinations thereof. Services address PTSD, depression, anxiety, military sexual trauma, grief, suicide prevention, sleep problems, anger management, and readjustment to civilian life. Care can be accessed through VA medical centers, Vet Centers, telehealth platforms, online self-help portals, and mobile apps.
