Care is available 24/7 through crisis lines and walk-in services at VA facilities. Over 1.7 million veterans received mental health services at the VA in the prior year. Online resources include the Veteran Training self-help portal and mental health apps. The BeThere peer assistance program connects service members and veterans with fellow veterans who have similar experiences.
