The Waverly Center for Psychotherapy provides psychotherapy for individual adults in the DC Metro Area, with locations across multiple Maryland municipalities including Upper Marlboro, Clinton, Temple Hills, Fort Washington, Oxon Hill, Brandywine, Largo, Dunkirk, Huntingtown, Mitchellville, Landover Hills, Cheltenham, Camp Springs, Waldorf, and Bowie. Founded and led by Kimberly Woodard, LCPC, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience, the practice helps clients understand the origins of their struggles and use insight to change their lives. The practice addresses issues including depression, anxiety, grief, anger management, intimate partner violence, sexual trauma, divorce, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. Kimberly Woodard has specialized training in the treatment of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders and reproductive psychology, and also facilitates therapy groups on topics ranging from coping with ADD to developing coping skills for individuals in early stages of recovery from addiction.
