About Terrebonne Behavioral Health Center

South Central Louisiana Human Services Authority (SCLHSA) was created by the Louisiana Legislature in 2006 to provide behavioral health and developmental disability services to individuals in Assumption, Lafourche, St. Charles, St. James, St. John, St. Mary and Terrebonne Parishes. The organization provides evidence-based treatment through a comprehensive array of services delivered in the community regardless of ability to pay. Services are overseen by a local board composed of nine members from the seven parishes in the region, with a mission focused on education, prevention, intervention, and treatment to enhance quality of life.
