Great to meet you

Star Center, Inc. is an outpatient treatment program founded in 1994 specializing in the treatment of opioid addiction. The agency offers a multi-disciplinary approach with a team of Physicians, Social Workers, Nurses, Counselors and Support Staff trained and credentialed in addiction treatment. Services include medically assisted treatment with methadone, counseling services, detoxification, individual counseling, peer recovery support services, and group therapy. The center provides comprehensive assessments including drug history, medical history, criminal and educational background, and mental status evaluation. Individualized treatment plans are developed for each patient and reviewed every 60 days, with physician re-evaluations every 60 days and annually. For patients with co-occurring physical or mental disorders, care is coordinated with appropriate medical providers. The Gold Star Program is a case management program designed for Medicaid and Healthy Michigan Plan beneficiaries with co-occurring disorders under the Substance Use Disorder Health Home umbrella. The facility is located in Wayne County and serves residents of that area.
