About Southwest Arkansas Counseling and

Southwest Arkansas Counseling and Mental Health Center (SWACMHC) has served individuals and families across Texarkana, Hope, Nashville, De Queen, and surrounding communities for over four decades since 1977. The center provides comprehensive outpatient care designed to help clients achieve emotional wellness, along with professional counseling, crisis support, youth rehabilitation programs, and community services. They offer youth services that partner with families, schools, and the juvenile court system to provide guidance and accountability for young people, as well as community-based services for individuals with chronic mental illness. The center has four clinic locations and provides crisis support through a 24/7 hotline. Services include care from licensed counselors, psychiatrists, and case managers, with on-site pharmacy services available in Texarkana and Hope, and flexible telehealth appointments throughout the region.
