About Sobriety House Inc

Sobriety House is Colorado's oldest licensed substance use disorder treatment center, founded in 1967. The organization is a state-licensed nonprofit providing an extensive continuum of care including residential treatment, outpatient, and sober living programs for adults with substance use disorders. Rooted in the 12-step model and evidence-based practices, Sobriety House serves multiple priority populations including pregnant women, women with dependent children, persons who use drugs by injection, persons involuntarily committed to treatment, and veterans. The center offers a safe, home-like setting with small client-to-counselor ratios, masters-level and licensed counselors, and staff with lived experience. Sobriety House accepts Medicaid and offers affordable costs compared to typical treatment fees, with a commitment to providing services regardless of ability to pay.
