Recovery Services of NW Ohio

Recovery Services of Northwest Ohio (RSNWO) is a non-profit organization specializing in serving individuals struggling with substance use, mental health, and dual diagnosis disorders. The agency serves children, adolescents, adults, and families impacted by chemical dependency and mental health issues. Founded in 1975 as Five County Alcohol/Drug Program, RSNWO provides comprehensive, confidential services across multiple levels of care including prevention, outpatient, and residential programs. They operate outpatient offices in Williams, Fulton, Henry, and Defiance counties in Ohio. The organization emphasizes abstinence-based recovery supported by community-oriented support groups and recovery that meets each client where they are in the recovery process. Key programs include Serenity Haven, a women's residential substance use disorder site, and Serenity Spring Women's Recovery Home for women transitioning from inpatient treatment. RSNWO pioneered Open Access, an agency-wide program allowing clients to come in any weekday at designated times without appointments for initial assessment.
