Northeast Counseling Services

Northeast Counseling Services is a full-service community mental health center incorporated in 1971 to provide behavioral health services to residents of central and southern Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, and beyond. The organization operates facilities in Hazleton and Nanticoke and provides a broad array of services through a coordinated system of care that adheres to recovery principles. Services include intake and emergency services, adult outpatient and aftercare services, case management, children and adolescent outpatient services, school-based behavioral health programs, psychiatric rehabilitation through their "Transitions" program, and student assistance programs. They serve individuals of all ages experiencing mental health conditions and behavioral difficulties. The agency is licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and complies with all federal and state laws and regulations.
