Louisiana Health and Rehab (LHR) is a Baton Rouge-based 501(c)(3) organization that provides comprehensive substance use disorder and mental health services across Louisiana. The organization operates two main entities: LA Health and Rehab Center, Inc. (LHRC) and LA Health and Rehab Options, Inc. (LHRO). LHRC specializes in treating substance use disorders, mental health conditions, homelessness, and HIV/AIDS. The organization runs several programs: Reality House, a residential treatment program for pregnant women and women with dependent children aged 0-12; Life Care Center, an outpatient treatment center providing intensive outpatient and standard outpatient services for adults and children; and FASD Screenings and Modifications to Treatment, a SAMHSA-supported pilot program for adult populations. LHRO provides home and community-based waiver services for developmentally, intellectually, and physically impaired individuals of all ages and the elderly. The organization has been operating for over twenty years with a mission to facilitate successful, long-term outcomes and help individuals become productive, self-sufficient members of society.
