About Lafourche Behavioral Health

South Central Louisiana Human Services Authority (SCLHSA) is a behavioral health and developmental disability services provider created by the Louisiana Legislature in 2006. It serves seven parishes: Assumption, Lafourche, St. Charles, St. James, St. John, St. Mary, and Terrebonne. The organization provides a comprehensive array of evidence-based treatment services for youth and adults experiencing behavioral health and substance use disorders. Services are provided in the community regardless of the individual's ability to pay. The organization is governed by a local board of nine members representing the seven parishes it serves.
