GPA Treatment provides comprehensive rehabilitation services to Atlanta residents with opioid and narcotic substance dependencies. The practice offers medical evaluations and referrals, individual, group, and specialized counseling, case management, crisis intervention, and comprehensive coordination of care among other providers. GPA serves persons of all races, cultural orientations, gender identities, sexual preferences, spiritual beliefs, and physical situations aged 18 and older. The facility specializes in outpatient methadone treatment in accordance with federal and state guidelines. Admission requires verifiable addiction to narcotics and/or opiates for one year (two years for those under age 21). GPA gives preferential admission to pregnant women, recently released incarcerated persons, and those previously treated by the facility. The practice is built on principles of care, compassion, honesty, integrity, and high ethical standards, viewing respect and dignity as foundational to successful recovery.
