Georgetown County Alcohol and Drug Abuse Commission (GCADAC) is located in Georgetown, South Carolina and was originally established in 1973. GCADAC serves as the county authority on substance abuse and provides prevention, intervention, and treatment services to address problems associated with alcohol and other drug abuse and dependence. The organization is committed to reducing negative health, social, and economic consequences resulting from substance use through primary prevention, intervention, and treatment strategies. GCADAC works in partnership with state and local agencies to provide affordable and accessible quality services to the general public and special high-risk populations across Georgetown County.
