Freedom House
About Freedom House
Freedom House is a recovery-oriented organization founded in 1986 that provides addiction treatment and residential recovery programs for individuals with substance use and co-occurring disorders. The organization operates a continuum of care including a long-term halfway house, multi-phase residential recovery programs, and outpatient services. Services include medication-assisted treatment and telehealth options. Freedom House serves men and women in New Jersey, accepting all residents who qualify regardless of ability to pay. The organization also addresses barriers to treatment by providing transportation services and programs accommodating work and family schedules. In 2020, Freedom House opened a 15-bed residential recovery program in Morristown and planned to expand services to the Phillipsburg area.
