Since 1958, the organization has provided trauma-informed care for people with mental illness, substance use disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and traumatic brain injuries. As one of North Carolina's largest providers, Monarch offers a broad range of services including outpatient therapy and mental health services, community-based mental health services, residential services for intellectual and developmental disability, day programs, tailored care management, and a mobile mental health clinic. They serve adults and provide family peer support services to help families advocate for their children and navigate multiple systems.
