About Family Recovery Center

Family Recovery Center (also known as Project Dawn) is a non-profit organization licensed by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services and accredited by CARF. Located in both Columbiana and Jefferson Counties, FRC provides comprehensive substance use and mental health treatment services. Core offerings include outpatient treatment with individual and group sessions, medication-assisted treatment combining medications with counseling and behavioral therapies, and recovery housing for men and women establishing long-term sobriety and independence. The organization emphasizes multi-disciplinary, cost-effective, holistic treatment approaches addressing chemical addiction, mental health disorders, and other health care needs. FRC also provides prevention and education services, workplace trainings, driver intervention programs, and community outreach to address the substance abuse and overdose epidemic in the region.
