The Connecticut Mental Health Center (CMHC) is a cooperative endeavor of the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) and the Yale University School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry, located in New Haven, Connecticut. The center provides mental health services and does not deny service to individuals based on inability to pay. CMHC accepts Medicaid and Medicare and offers a discounted sliding fee schedule based on family size and income. The facility is led by Chief Executive Officer Charles Dike, MD, MPH, FRCPsych, and does not discriminate in the provision of health care services.
