BHcare - North Branford

BHcare is a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic offering comprehensive and integrated behavioral health services. The organization serves adults, children, and families struggling with mental health, substance use, domestic violence, and other health-risk behaviors. BHcare is designated by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) as a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic and is licensed by the Connecticut Department of Public Health and the Connecticut Department of Children and Families. The BHcare family of programs includes Valley and Shoreline Clinics, The Umbrella Center for Domestic Violence Services, Parent Child Resource Center, Hope Family Justice Center, and Alliance for Prevention and Wellness. Services include medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder, specialized trauma treatment, outpatient clinical services, supervised and supportive housing, domestic violence shelter and advocacy, children's counseling and support services, and prevention and wellness programs. Locations include Ansonia, North Branford, and Derby.
