ZION Integrated Behavioral Health Services is a non-profit organization founded in 1973 serving six counties in Southwest Iowa (Adair, Cass, Dallas, Fremont, Montgomery, and Page). The organization provides substance use disorder treatment, problem gambling services, and mental health care through multiple office locations in Atlantic, Shenandoah, Clarinda, Red Oak, Greenfield, Perry, Adel, and Creston. ZION operates an adult male (18+) residential halfway house facility in Clarinda, Iowa. In 2018, ZION became the managing entity of Southwest Iowa Mental Health Center and expanded outpatient mental health services. The organization was awarded Chapter 24 Accreditation for crisis stabilization services and in 2023 received designation as a Community Mental Health Center. ZION emphasizes a welcoming, safe, and confidential treatment environment that respects patient dignity and promotes personal growth and healing.
