ZION Integrated Behavioral Health Services, Inc. is a non-profit organization formed in Southwest Iowa in 1973 to provide substance use disorder treatment and related services across six counties: Adair, Cass, Dallas, Fremont, Montgomery, and Page. The organization operates offices throughout Service Area 12 in Atlantic, Shenandoah, Clarinda, Red Oak, Greenfield, Perry, and Adel, as well as in Creston, Iowa in Service Area 13. ZION offers outpatient comprehensive services for substance use disorder and problem gambling, as well as adult male residential and halfway house facilities in Clarinda, Iowa. The organization expanded in 2018 to manage Southwest Iowa Mental Health Center and in 2019 expanded outpatient mental health services. ZION has obtained Chapter 24 accreditation for crisis stabilization and outpatient mental health services, and was designated a Community Mental Health Center in July 2023 for Cass, Audubon, Guthrie, and Greene counties.
