ZION Integrated Behavioral Health Services, Inc. is a non-profit organization founded in 1973 in Southwest Iowa to provide substance use disorder treatment and related services to six counties: Adair, Cass, Dallas, Fremont, Montgomery, and Page. The organization operates offices in Atlantic, Shenandoah, Clarinda, Red Oak, Greenfield, Perry, Adel, and Creston, Iowa. ZION offers outpatient substance use disorder and problem gambling services, an adult male residential/halfway house facility in Clarinda, and expanded mental health services following becoming the managing entity of Southwest Iowa Mental Health Center in July 2018. In July 2023, ZION was designated a Community Mental Health Center for Cass, Audubon, Guthrie, and Greene counties. The organization prioritizes creating a welcoming, safe, and confidential environment that respects patient dignity while supporting wellness through intervention, advocacy, and education.
