Youth Advocates of Sitka, Inc. is a community-based non-profit mental health agency founded in 1975 in Sitka, Alaska. The organization specializes in providing mental and behavioral health services to youth ages 5 to 21 and their families who are experiencing mental health disorders and concerning behaviors affecting their ability to function in the home, school, and community. YAS provides strength-based support, behavioral counseling services, and helps youth build life skills for healthy, happy, and productive lives. In addition to Hanson House, a residential group home facility, the organization offers wrap-around services and programs addressing the mental and behavioral health needs of Alaska's youth and families.
