About West Palm Beach VA HCS

This is the VA mental health services division, providing comprehensive mental health care to U.S. Veterans regardless of discharge status or VA health care enrollment. Services address posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, anxiety, military sexual trauma (MST), suicide prevention, and adjustment to civilian life. Veterans can access care through multiple pathways: calling or walking into any VA medical center 24/7, contacting their nearest Vet Center, or calling 877-222-8387 (Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET). The VA provides peer support with other Veterans, counseling, therapy, medication management, and combination treatments. Over 1.7 million Veterans received mental health services at VA last year. Services include telemental health through VA's remote mental health provider program, the Veteran Training online self-help portal for managing anger and problem-solving skills, mental health mobile apps, and the BeThere peer assistance program for service members, families, and transitioning Veterans.
