WellStone is North Alabama's largest and most comprehensive mental healthcare provider, founded in 1969. The organization serves more than 12,000 individuals annually through compassionate, evidence-based services including crisis care, therapy, psychiatry, addiction recovery, and community-based programs for children, adults, and families. WellStone provides a full continuum of care ranging from traditional psychiatric and therapy visits to intensive inpatient and residential programs. As a community nonprofit, WellStone is deeply rooted in North Alabama and provides over $3.5 million in uncompensated care annually to ensure access to mental health services for all members of the community.
