WellFully is a comprehensive behavioral health organization in western South Dakota that serves at-risk adolescents. Founded in 1990 as WellSpring and renamed in 2017, the organization provides residential addiction recovery programs, psychiatric residential treatment, crisis care, and outpatient services. Their integrated approach combines counseling, medical treatment, and educational services. They operate the Girls Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility, Boys and Girls Addiction Recovery Programs, the Soaring Eagle Outpatient Addiction Recovery Program, the LAB After School and Summer Program, and South Dakota's only Adolescent Crisis Care Center. Most clinical services require a referral, though the LAB Program and Crisis Care Center are open to the public without referral requirements. Approximately 98% of youth served have experienced poverty, and 74% have experienced abuse and neglect.
