Wediko School at the Home for

The Wediko School is a residential treatment center located on 450 lakefront acres in New Hampshire, offering therapeutic and educational services for middle and high school aged boys experiencing significant social-emotional, behavioral, and educational challenges. The NH Department of Education cites the program as how residentials should be. Social workers, psychologists, and special education teachers guide students through an intensive milieu of academics and therapy. Clinicians work closely with the student's family and referring professional with the goal of returning the child to his home and community, or a less restrictive school, as soon as possible.
