Wedge Recovery Centers provided mental health and substance use treatment through seven locations in Philadelphia from 1994 until permanent closure effective May 30, 2025. The organization offered a comprehensive continuum of services including adult outpatient and intensive outpatient substance use treatment, an opioid treatment program with medication-assisted treatment, early intervention for adolescents at risk for substance use, outpatient mental health services for adults, adolescents and children, and community-integrated recovery centers for adults and older adults. Wedge was designated an Opioid Use Disorder Center of Excellence by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 2016 and an Evidence-Based Practice Provider by Community Behavioral Health in 2018. The practice served underserved communities with staff representing diverse cultures and speaking at least seven languages in addition to English.
