The Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (BHDD) Office of Mental Health is a leading statewide public mental health system in South Carolina serving children, adults, and families. Operating since 1828, the organization provides a comprehensive array of mental health treatment services across all 46 counties in South Carolina through community mental health centers, hospitals, and inpatient facilities.
