About this practice

About

Vinland National Center has provided substance use disorder and problem gambling treatment since 1990, specializing in individuals with co-occurring cognitive impairments, traumatic brain injuries, mental health challenges, and learning disabilities. The organization was the first in the country to design a treatment program specifically addressing the unique needs of individuals living with brain injuries. Vinland offers residential treatment (male-only facility), outpatient substance use disorder treatment in NE Minneapolis (all genders), outpatient problem gambling treatment, and supportive housing. The center takes a personalized, integrative approach to treatment, recognizing that individuals with substance addictions frequently have co-occurring issues such as brain injuries, mental health challenges, and cognitive impairments. Their staff are highly trained and licensed professionals dedicated to whole-body healing addressing physical, emotional, and mental health.
