Uinta Academy

Uinta Academy is a residential treatment center specializing in multi-dimensional care for teens and young adults who struggle with relationships, attachment issues, or trauma. The program combines individual, family, and group therapy delivered by licensed professionals with a family-style living environment in a residential neighborhood. Treatment includes a research-based therapeutic milieu, accredited academic program, equine-assisted psychotherapy, cultural arts programming, recreational therapy, and healthy lifestyle components. The equine program uses horses to help teens assess and develop healthy relational patterns, as horses are herd animals that require social navigation similar to human relationships.
