Turning Winds

Turning Winds offers a hybrid residential treatment program for adolescents with substance use disorders and other addictions. The program treats mild to moderate addictions including alcohol, marijuana, opioids, video game addictions, computer addictions, pornography, cutting, and sexual addictions. The program emphasizes sufficient treatment duration, recognizing that teens typically need two to three months to engage meaningfully with the treatment team and facilitate lasting change. The approach involves helping clients acknowledge the reasons behind addictive behaviors rather than suppressing painful emotions. Turning Winds fills gaps left by other treatment options that typically offer only 30-90 day programs.
