The Shoulder treats adult men and women struggling with alcohol and drug abuse, with special consideration for pregnant individuals with substance use disorders, individuals with IV substance use disorders, women with dependent children, and individuals who are HIV positive. The program offers residential treatment at varying intensity levels: high-intensity residential treatment for women, low-intensity residential treatment for both men and women, and transitional residential treatment for men stepping down from intensive care. All programs emphasize a three-pillar approach centered on recovery orientation, twelve-step facilitation, and spirituality within a safe and Christian environment.
