About this practice
About
The Link Halfway House is a transitional, 24-hour structured supportive living and treatment facility in Northeast Nebraska for adult men who have completed short-term residential treatment for chemical dependency and need continued treatment for 9 to 12 months. The Link Recovery Houses (Lincoln House and Truman House) provide additional peer support, structured living, and counseling access for graduates. The organization is licensed by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services and accredited by CARF. It serves the 22-county Region IV area of Northeast Nebraska, with additional capacity for clients throughout Nebraska and out-of-state. The Link provides a continuum of individual and group counseling, treatment planning, employment support, and connection to self-help groups including AA, NA, and DRA. The approach is based on the 12-step model and eclectic treatment methods, emphasizing dignity, responsibility, and community reintegration. Ongoing individual therapy is provided at no charge to program graduates through the Link Alumni Association.
