Talbert House

Talbert House is a community health and social services organization in Southwest Ohio serving children, adults, and families across multiple locations. Founded over 60 years ago (celebrating its 60th anniversary), the organization provides an extensive network of services focused on prevention, assessment, treatment, and reintegration. Services include intensive substance use disorder programming with a focus on opiates, offering integrated care through assessment, day reporting, medication-assisted treatment, and counseling in both outpatient and residential settings. Additional service lines include community care (prevention, advocacy, hotline, vocational services), court and corrections (residential treatment in halfway houses and correctional facilities), housing assistance, mental health services (prevention, case management, outpatient treatment), and primary care (wellness exams, preventive care, immunizations). The organization operates a 24/7 crisis hotline and offers same-day outpatient assessments for mental health and addiction treatment on a walk-in and telehealth basis across Hamilton, Brown, Clinton, and Warren Counties.
