STAND, Inc. is a nonprofit organization established in 1999 dedicated to providing comprehensive solutions to individuals with complex social issues and diseases. Located in the Metropolitan Atlanta Region, STAND addresses health disparities related to homelessness, prison recidivism, domestic violence, mental health, and substance abuse. The organization employs evidence-based training, education, and interventions to empower clients to engage in healthy productive lifestyles. STAND operates as a Drug Abuse Treatment and Education Program (DATEP) licensed by the Georgia Department of Community Health and partners with the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities to facilitate substance abuse intensive outpatient programs, peer support, and addiction recovery support services.
