About Southeast MO Behavioral Health
The Missouri Council on Problem Gambling and Substance Abuse (MCPGSA) is a statewide program created by the Missouri Lottery in cooperation with the Missouri Alliance to Curb Problem Gambling. The organization provides free counseling services for compulsive gamblers and their family members through agencies contracted with the Missouri Department of Mental Health. The program offers certified compulsive gambling counseling to Missouri residents, accessible via a help line at 1-888-BETSOFF, email, and a network of regional treatment providers across Missouri counties. The organization provides resources for identifying gambling addiction symptoms and connecting individuals with local counselors and mental health services.
