What a first session looks like

Virtual & In-Person

Call (910) 295-7246 to request an appointment. A patient care representative will walk patients through how to prepare their mobile device for a video check-in appointment, or patients can check in at the front desk for local clinic visits. Patients then meet with a licensed addiction medicine provider over video chat or at a local clinic to develop a personalized recovery plan.

Evidence-based approaches

MAT

Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT). Pairs FDA-approved medications with counseling and behavioral therapy. Standard of care for opioid and alcohol use disorder; emerging evidence in gambling for impulsivity-targeting agents.

Group therapy

Group Therapy. A small facilitated circle where people working on similar struggles practice naming what is hard, hearing themselves in others, and learning skills together. The room is the medicine.

Trauma-informed care

Trauma-Informed Care. Approaches addiction as something layered on top of unprocessed trauma, not in isolation. Pacing matters more than confrontation.
