Singing River Services is a community-based therapeutic organization serving Jackson and George counties in Mississippi. Established in 1972, it operates as one of 15 comprehensive mental health centers in Mississippi (Region 14). The agency provides comprehensive mental health and addiction services for adults, children, seniors, and individuals with serious mental illness and intellectual and developmental disabilities. Services include individual, family, and group therapies, psychiatric services, crisis and emergency intervention, intensive outpatient programs, inpatient programming, employment services, day programs, and targeted case management. All individuals requesting services are screened to determine appropriate treatment recommendations. The organization emphasizes community inclusion, self-empowerment, and individualized care plans developed for each client. A mobile crisis response team is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
