Samaritan Inns

Samaritan Inns is a recovery organization in the Washington, D.C. area that has treated more than 16,000 people struggling with homelessness and addiction over nearly four decades. They provide holistic services to homeless and at-risk men and women, including structured residential housing, counseling, and treatment for drug and alcohol addiction. The organization operates a three-phase continuum of care: Phase 1 (Intensive Adult Treatment Program) offers structured housing and holistic healing services; Phase 2 (3-6 month Men's and Women's Treatment Programs, fully certified by the DC Department of Behavioral Health) focuses on relapse prevention and social skills; and Phase 3 (Long-Term Recovery Program) provides ongoing support for residents with 6+ months of sobriety. The organization treats the whole person—body, mind, and spirit—in an environment designed to foster hope, accountability, and self-sufficiency.
